What size socket would I need to remove rear axle nut

The axle nut on my Mustang is 2.75. But yea go measure yours to be sure.

Thanks everyone I was at work could not measure it thought maybe somebody could tell me and I would pick one up on the way home but it is 2 and 3/4

Hello Shawn welcome to YT! The size of a hex bolt or nut is measured across two flats opposite of each other, see 1st link. If you are going to work on this tractor and it is some distance away and you need to know the exact size you may try posting on the YT Massey Ferguson-Massey Harris topic section in the 2nd link.

Hi Shawn ..... is your 101 Junior a standard or a row crop (narrow front end)? I have a measurement question myself about one I am working on myself right now (has some 102 stuff on it). Thanks .... and yes, I know the left rear tire is on backwards, I have no explanation for that.
