When I go through the cabinets in my shop that haven't seen the light of day for a few years, it's just like Christmas. I have even gone out and bought parts I already have. Stan

Part# search on JDparts.com reveals 17 different equipment model applications. This research only includes later equipment models not the older ones but I can't remember the cut-off date.

Some JD grain drills such as model LL & FB-B utilized the S918M spring

S918M applies pressure to acre-meter on older JD grain drills to keep drive gears engaged

Welcome to my world!!! A few months ago I bought 5 of the metal rings/washers that go on the oil pan drain plug for my Olivers and several sediment bowl gaskets so I'd have them. I put them in a safe place so I would have them when I need them, they are MIA.

I bought a 3 pt buzzsaw years back at an auction. I decided to take the flat belt off the pulley and store it in a safe, dry area. That was 20 some years ago, the saw was sold 8-9 years ago and I still cannot find where I put that flat belt!!!!!

at least I am not the only one that does that. if I have spare parts I put them in totes and mark what they are for, kids sometimes look at me like when I tell them that like I am off center.

I have 2 longer V-Belts, new, B&C grooves, in my stash. I didn't label them when I got them, and now can't remember what they were for. Guess I will wait until something burns up a belt that size and see.... This week, I found out that neither one fits the corn dryer that needed some new belts.

I bought a set of left hand drill bits a few years ago, I have looked everywhere and can't find them. I am tempted to order another set but as soon as I do I'll find the other set! I lost a pair of 12 inch channel locks for about 5 years. Finally I bought a new pair. A week later I found the old ones!!!

Well Im glad that Im not the only one . When I ordered the spring I knew what it was for . By the time it got here I forgot what it was for by the I remembered what it was for I lost the spring
