Cheap carburetors ?

I put one of those el cheapo carbs on my Honda Recon a few years ago and it has been just fine, no problems at all.

I ordered one from Amazon a couple of years ago for a Honda 250. About the same price point as the one your looking at. Chinese made. I did have to make some minor adjustments to the throttle cable to get it to work. We dont use that machine everyday but when we do it gets run pretty hard and its been running just fine with that carburetor. I cant complain, your mileage may very.

Bought a few over the years, only one I had a problem with was for a Tecumseh 6.5hp.

Sent it back to Amazon, bought another from a different seller (probably the same carb) , worked fine.

Not that particular carb.
I have bought cheapie made in china carb for my Champion 3500w generator off ebay.
I was excited to see the made in china carb had a mixture adjustment screw, instead of the California compliant carb.

I've bought several cheapy Chinese carbs for lawn mowers, chainsaws, tillers, etc. They all worked fine.

I tried rebuilding a carburetor on my sons 500 sportsman. Didnt have any luck. Bought one of those $50 carburetors and its been working fine ever since.

I've had good success with them. Sure beats the dealer price even if you do get a dud!

Something I learned on those ATV's, don't try to tune it or assume there is a carb problem until the air filter and air box are completely assembled and in place. It can totally change the way it runs!

I put a cheap carb. on my Dad's Craftsman rider. A week later he said it wasn't running right. He took it to a shop and they put a rebuild kit in it and I guess that fixed it. $133

X2, never had an issue with one. Put a ChiCom in my dump truck this spring for less than a rebuild kit for the original.

Have bought four or six.
Before you order what you need, study the picture good and compare to what you need.
The linkages for throttle and choke are not always configured the way it is needed on your machine.
Sometimes you have to remove the plate on the shaft and reinstall it by flipping it over or to the other side to get it to be correct.

Some are not anodized inside and will not last well with E10 gas sitting in it too long.
