So I drilled a little 2 acre field . Going to drill alfalfa seed when it dies up

But you dont have to be very strong . I was going to change it to cylinders but I actually like the trip rope no hoses or cylinders to leak
 
I like that because when you are drilling around rock piles you lift one side or drilling the ends
 
When I was farming a lot I used all trip rope equipment. I would buy good impliments at auctions for $50.

The worst was an old John Deere chisel with two ropes one for up and one for down. Somehow every time I used it my back would go out. After a life time I realized that pulling from the rear like that is not natural. Something the human body was not designed to do.

That is why farmers with employees have all hydraulic equipment, too many workman's comp claims.
 
Pulling the rope never bothers me the pan breaker takes a pretty good pull because it lifts by pulling the lever which locks the wheels to pull it out of the ground

Thats how I think about it . My other drill is hydraulic lift its a disc opener and the hand lift is a hoe drill
