Smoking kills black mold.
I've never found black mold inside a window AC if the tenant is a smoker.
AC smells like an ash tray, no mold.
Mold doesn't like second hand smoke.

Had a European friend that was a heavy smoker. When I asked him to consider quitting smoking for his health, his reply was smoked meat lasts longer.
