Threshing machine belts and pulleys

Looking for some ideas on who sells new belting for making belts or who can make endless belts for separator? Also would like to get a couple of
paper pulleys redone. Wanting to fix up the red river special that we use every year for our Labor Day threshing show a bit more reliable. Thanks,

I have quite a few 100 endless belts. Just used one this last Saturday to make chop. Plus I have quite a few of the other smaller ones. To make them to size u just cut them and lace them and thats it. Dont know where u are located.

Located in eastern Washington near Colfax. We have spliced and repaired several of the belts but I think some of our material is just to old and weathered. Alligator type splices pull out on some and notice on several of the longer belts that they stretch a lot after running an hour or so. Some of the smaller paper pulleys are weathered to the point that I think they no longer have enough crown to keep the belts centered or they are worn down to the metal. Thanks, Mike

There is/was an outfit in Tennessee that did paer pulleys. The website is still up, paperpulleys DOT com, (931) 388-9099. By the looks of the pictures you're better off CALLING, as the business appears to be run by older gentlemen that probably don't do email, even though they have an email address listed.

Lots of places online that sell endless belting.

They make flat belts. give them a call
My go to place for bearings, seals, hydraulic hoses, V-belts, even got parts to repair flat belt on 1956 Balley bowling machine.

Coldwell caters to parts for industry.

Beltco in New York. I've not dealt with them but they advertise regularly in Lancaster Farming. No website, just telephone #'s. 585-567-2358 and 585-567-4341.

You can have belts made by industrial belting/conveyor suppliers. Your local bearing supply may have the connections with them.

It will not be cheap! Pays to shop around, get a feel for their prices, willingness, and attitude.

Endless belts are a specialty, a good belt supply can make them or know who can.

I have a Keck threshing machine. I have round baler belting on it. For the main drive belt, I have a belt that was used in an elevator leg.

When doing an internet search, look for: rubberised cotton duck flat belting. That should get you something a little more original than baler belting & the like. Hit 'n' Miss Enterprises also still provides good ol' cotton duck belting.

Thanks for the ideas and contact info everyone. We do this as a demonstration every Labor Day and I am wanting to try to preserve our threshing machines as original as possible so that another generation will understand and enjoy them. Thanks again, Mike
