These are a few of the sights at the show in Lagrange TX yesterday. The day turned out great even after 8 1/2 inches of rain Thursday morning. My NAA and Fergie. A nice JD on propane, and a few other sights. The Army car is original with the original 6 in it. Next an interesting carb setup. The beet hauler.

Looks like it was a nice show, we got busy on some home projects and did not make it, I laughed later when Deb said we forgot to go to LaGrange and I said well you had a list. Haha glad you had a good time.

It wasn't a big show as far as tractors but there were lots of old engines and they had the hay press and corn sheller and stuff like that. The car show wasn't as big as it has been either. Maybe that 8 1/2 inches of rain Thursday morning scared some off. The grounds were perfect and other than a little wind the day was too.

Yes, we had a good visit!

I checked out the wild carb set up on the Camaro! Nothing about that was functional, just for show. I wonder if it even ran at all!

There were a lot of hit miss engine displays, some of them were at the Temple show.

I checked out the tilt bed Chevy. Beautiful detailed restoration!

All around a great show!

Bill, I drove my Farmall 300 to the tractor pull at the Big Red Barn near Seguin, TX. It is about a 13 or 14 mile drive for me. I enjoyed the drive down and back. I met a super nice guy there. I found I was in the 5600 lb. class but only weighed a bit over 5300. If I removed the fast hitch I might make the 5100 pound class. My New friend had me let tire pressure down to 7 lb. and hung two 100 pound weights on my rear axle. I pulled in Division 1 and was about mid-pack. Not bad. It was a HUGE group. I pulled again in Division 2 and won third place!!! Glad there were only three entries. : ) kelly

Perfect weather for sure. Sorry I missed the show.My wife & her Cocker Spaniel got home from A & M at 3:30am Friday night. Cocker has CHF stage 1 now. Have more meds for her and had to monitor her all day Saturday. She seemed to doing good but after we came home from church today, she went in pulmonary distress. We are now at A & M again to get her sorted out again. On the way here we passed the fairgrounds in Bryan and they are having a tractor pull. Turbine powered one was making a run when we passed by.

A friend and I went to that as spectators many years ago. I had lost track of when it was. None of my tractors are really puller types but I do it for fun. At least the drive has your tractor warmed up when you get there. jy
