I heard that Minn-Kota is out of business--Is that true? If so is there anyone else doing that?

Check with Steinners, they have many in stock.

Jerry at Evergreen Restorations is doing them now. I believe he bought Minn-Kota's stuff.

Most popular models have new replacements available. If yours has something special about it, do like I did. I needed one with 36 spline on 7/8 tapered shaft. I ended up buying a replacement with the correct diameter and boring out the hub to fit the turned down splined sleeve from the hub in my old steering wheel.

Yep, theyre gone, I dont like the hard plastic covers on the new stuff, I liked the rubber Minnkota used, but we use what we can get
