Would one of my cubs run this? I'm
guessing it's belt driven.

A cub would have more than enough power to run that.
We run one here with a very small electric motor, probably 1/4 HP or 1/2 HP.

get yourself a little IHC LB engine to run it. plus a flatbelt. plus you need to get your pully sizing right for the speed. dont wont to shake the thing apart.

I'm thinking a cub belt pulley would run the seeder way to fast. I'm thinking you wouldn't be able to come up with the right pulleys to get the speed reduced down far enough for proper run speed of the cleaner. They don't need to run very fast at all.
Your best bet would be to stick with an electric motor on this, to aquire a slow enough belt speed. The cub would also have to much power than what this cleaner needs to make it operate.

Yes, but in my opinion you would be wasting a lot of gas. An electric motor will run it just fine. If that is a blower to move the cleaned grain out of the bottom on the other side it might take a 3/4 hp or so. We had one without that blower and we could run it with a 1/6 hp motor. I scooped and bagged a lot of cleaned soybean seed out of the bottom of one of them. Maybe you wanted to use a tractor because the place you want to clean the seed at has no electricity?

I should run down to Alec Yeager's and get some pictures of the facility he built.
Built his own augers, seed treaters, and presses his own soy diesel.

That would be just a fine job for the CUB nothing more to buy and you can run it anywhere dont need any ELECT

Nice looking Clipper ,with all the screens . Thats a keeper for sure. Wish I had a place to use it. Find an elevator ,put right into the grain bins

I guess I should have said I dont recall if we had to twist the belt or not when we used my Cub on my seed cleaner. We just used it as a fan that day, and ran it above idle for like 6 hours on what was in the tank when we got there, Im guessing maybe 6 gallons if that.
