7.60 to 9.5 wagon tires

I have a stash of old tires that are in good shape. My old gravity auger wagon has the 9.5-15 tires on currently. Could I put the 7.6-15 on them?

If I was to never leave the yard with the wagon, I would not care what tires I had on it. But if I was to be getting out on the road with it especially while loaded, even down to the neighbors and back, I would want some good tires on there.
For what its worth, my friend that runs a tire place said that these modern tires do not age well. Said that they still have the wear life like tires have always had, but don't have the time span life like they use to. So he advises people to replace tires on low mile stuff like camper trailers, boat trailers, etc., based on time and not wear.
Being loaded and going down the road with it, is what would concern me if tire looked ok but had some age on it.

I got them a few years ago new but never put them on. Wagon would be used mainly around the farm. Maybe spending a mile down the road if that. Its a seed wagon for us.

You probably be ok. You just never know what one does with a gravity wagon. I know a local guy that routinely pulls his gravity wagon 2 towns over (20 miles round trip) to get a load of corn to use as feed because he don't have a grain truck.
Knew someone else that used thiers to go way further than that to get thier seed cleaned.
Its the loaded miles that will really put a semi iffy tire to the test.

You never stated if the 7.6 tires were on rims. If they are, go for it then you have the 9.5 tires/wheels as spares. If the 7.6 are not on rims, then maybe get rims. Should be able to find some cheap rims for it.

Tube and lube, the 7.60's will pop right on the 9.5's rims. Most likely the rims the 9.5's are on are not the right rims anyway, and had narrower tires on them to begin with.
