i was at auction today and saw 5 806's sell from 350.00 to 800.00 . one 1206 went around 1200.00. and one 856 went around 1100.00. tractors were in rough shape and not running. couple had fairly new big rubber front tires. not even straight metal on them. most hoods were off and just was disgusting to look at them.

Wow, a while back i look at Tractor House for the heck of it,and i looked up 806's, the selection at some of the dealer had, were about the same, not bragging but there was a quiet a few sold new around here, I think there is a Wheatland, and my Farmall are the the only two left, that's in running condition, but a lot of them are no longer in the area either !

i bought a few things. bought a set of used 806 pistons and sleeves for 35.00. cant see any thing wrong with them. bought 2 new sleeves for 10.00 . auctioneer looks in box and say ooh heres a couple filters , i thought u idiot but ok for me. lol. i actually passed him that box. got a honda 4000 generator for 100.00 also. i did not wait to see what the j. d. 820 went for. new holland 855 baler new chains 700.00. i was going to buy it but too much to have sitting till i need chains. ooh and got myself the 806 decal on the side panel i was looking for, for mine. plus was a hydraulic pump cesna brand new i am sure what i needed but was not sure if it was the one so let it pass at 140.00. now kicking my self once i got my boots off. dont hurt so much.

From the description they could be big money pits to fix up even if they were free.
