I started cutting in May. Looks like Ill finish baling in October.

You mean a great year for growing hay. Not so great for harvesting it!

Is that how you cut all your hay? That is just a disc mower, right? Guess I figured you had something that conditioned it too, haybine or discbine.

Can you tell a difference in drying time?

Most times it will dry just as fast just cut and laying it out flat. I made 300 dry bales this September, all cut with this discmower with no conditioning. Better hay drying weather in September than the whole rest of the summer. Doesnt matter what you cut with if the sun dont shine, and it rains every third day.
