Haven't made it to a show in essentially two years now, so glad to finally get to go this weekend. Even ran into two other forum regulars (centralilbaler and I believe DPittman if I remember the handle correctly); always good to see some familiar faces! No sign of that kruser guy, though!

Got a bit of video of the tractor pull but had to leave before things got going unfortunately so only caught maybe a dozen or so hitches.

It was good seeing you Will. Im hoping baler will tell us how he did. I got a 1st and a 5th, but the 1st place isnt
impressive since I was the only one in the class. Good weather, good show, good ham and beans, met some
new friends, just a good day. Thanks for the pic.

DPittman -- Good to see you, too! I thought you looked familiar when I saw the Z pulling, glad I caught up with you and baler. Hope he pops in here as well, curious how the old Ollies did myself! Quite great weather for the show this year.

Eric in IL -- You're quite welcome for the pics! Sorry I didn't get any more up close on that particular JD.

I forgot to post a couple other pics I took. One of a row of JDs and the other of the few items I bought. Most I got from a guy I chatted with for awhile selling AC stuff right off the main road.

Will or group. Please teach me something. On the tandems I dont see an extra drive shaft. Hydraulic hoses instead. I thought on tandem drag racing engine set
ups they had something similar to a second drive unit. So Im guessing on the tandem tractor setup all of the 2nd power plant is transferring HP hydraulically???
Thank you for the impressive photos. Wingnut

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I really like the pictures of the tandem tractors. I was just reading this morning in a magazine about the Moody Implement Co. turned into a museum in Jacksonville. Have
you been there? Is it a place I should put on my bucket list to tour when I am in the area?

larry zielkowski -- You're welcome!

wingnuttx -- I think both tractors use their own engines & HP and they just have to sync the gears they use... I didn't track back to see how the hydraulic setup worked, if they somehow are tied together or what. I think the AC has a WC in the back so it may just be running all the hydraulics off the WD? I should investigate closer one of these days.

tractorkrum -- I know where Moody's is on the curve heading out of Jacksonville towards Virginia IL, but I've never actually been inside it myself. I am from the area so you'd think I would have, but I've heard of other people checking it out. If anybody knows any info about when it is open or anything, please let us all know!

Couldn't beat the weather now that it's gotten hot again, other than we had a spot of rain between Friday and Saturday which kept the dust down but did make the tractor pull area a bit wet first thing. Hope baler stops by! :D

I saw this picture was one of Larry's puzzles the other day.

That looks like the front of a Barber-Greene John Deere 50. Can anyone verify that, or know anything about it?
