I know there are many farmers and hay makers that have several hay wagons whereas they are a needed piece of hardware on the farm but last week I picked one up to refurbish to use in my hobby vegetable garden that I grow to give veggies to soup kitchen and family members and friends. Its in pretty good shape but I need to reboard. Need to weld a new hitch too. Seller gave me 4 nearly new tires as well. Wingnut-Keith

You lucky guy there, we bought an Oliver/electric wheel gears just like yours, for setting
an extra cornhead on, 4 x later buying little tires, much less finding them!, then 4 hours
of heat/wax lube on the front bolster and knees/grease zerks, and poof we have a wagon
that is roadable again to haul the cornhead, only good part, bought for $5 at the sale!
good luck with your project.

oldest son wants to take the other electric wheel gears and make a portable multibin cow mineral feeder
with flap on top. Gonna be interesting.
pics to follow some day. GG

GTG. Yes sir. Be sure to capture a few photos and Ill do the same. Problem is Im swamped with all sorts of projects-while the weather is good as in low humidity- but thats better than the alternative right. Wingnut

We had one running gear similar condition to that. I chained the rear axle to the tractor parked 90 degrees to it then pulled the tongue back and forth with the loader bucket as I pried the axle up on the knee to get it loose then drilled an extra hole for a grease fitting oiled it up good after polishing the shaft. Been fine since.

Nice looking running gear. I have 3 light duty gears.
One I use going to tractor show flea markets. It has a 7x12 bed for stuff and Ford tractor parts. It fits nicely into my 24' enclosed trailer and the golf cart then goes in.
I have one with 4 new implement tires but a wooden tongue. I will replace the tongue with a steel one and build a deck (soon, I hope).
The third one is sitting on blocks with no wheels or tires on it. My plan is for it to be either for floats or as a hayride wagon, or for loading stuff out of the barn, garage and house for a yard/garage sale next year.
I gave my son the hayride wagon that we built about 5 years ago. It has fold down sides and fold down rear steps. It can be used as a stage for a band at our bonfires.
