Case Marathon Day Pics

I don’t own a Case yet.

The VAC still has both headlamps on the platform! When I got mine, there was only one, non working one left. So I mounted LED's up at the back end of the engine, like the later version.

Must not have been a case dealer near us in Central Alabama. Only ever seen one for sale. It was a DI. Should have bought it. Hardly see any case tractors at shows.....

I pay for that with heavy clay and low wet ground. But no rocks is nice. I did find one last fall about the size of a potato, made sure to throw it in the ditch.

Tractor club member was downsizing. I helped him out.

2 to make 1 runner for plow days.

After I missed out on a nice 930 at a consignment auction, I stupidly bought the ugliest tractor ever.
Also nonrunning SC and S here but I can't find their pictures.

How about something old. Came across this on Craig's list locally. It's the only one anyone has seen that I can find. No one knew case even made or sold them. If anyone has seen one elsewhere I would love to hear about it.

My 6 V system was in such good condition, I kept it, with the addition of a few new wires. I found a little box which I hooked up for the lights which gets me 12 V

Dad on a C Case he restored. He had one in his native Holland that was buried under a potato patch for several months so that it would not be confiscated by the retreating army in WW2. Cousins still have it...

The Case VAI my dad pulled out of a fence row in 2011.
It had at least five layers of paint on it so my dad painted it Oliver Green because that was one of the colors. I inherited it in 2015 and plan on repainting it Flambeau Red in the next year or so.

This may be the best comprehensive compilation of old school equipment still getting it done that I have seen on YT. High Five to all contributors. I really enjoy these and viewing how things are done in other parts of the country. Encourage more like it. Thanks.

Here is my SC ready to give hay rides at our church's chili cookoff held in our machine shed each fall.

And one of Pastor John on his SC on the WHO tractor ride when they came through our town (New Sharon, IA)

And one of Chuck Machinist on his 400 on the same tractor ride.

Here are some of the Case Tractors I have owned over the years. I usually buy one, fix it up and play with it for awhile, then sell it and look for the next one. Bob

I do have a relatively detailed Case steam tractor for my train layout, but I'll be dipped if I can find it. Probably because I'm looking for it.

Almost forgot about this one. It's my F2 that my buddy (on the drawbar) & I fixed up. That combine turned out a pretty clean sample for having sat out. It was the perfect sized machine for the H, too. Ended up getting rid of it due to a cracked axle. Still kicking myself for that.

I have two cameras, one a pocket sized one I try to keep with me,, the other has a whole lot more zoom and quality, but it is too big and costly to carry when I am in equipment,, wish I could have the small ones do what it will,, thank you for all the kind words
cnt

I picked 3 stone boat loads off of 8 acres , the boat is 12' long 4' wide has 6" removable side rack. the smallest one was the size of a volley ball.

Good old straight pipe on that baby. Get another 3 HP out of it AND.....they can hear you 3 counties away. (;>))

Love you all for sharing. I have no case products now but have lots of great memories in my pre-teen years. Someone showed a beautiful LA which was the first real tractor Dad put me on to help him.

got to have a case cat!

would you turn the lights out!

Goodness Jon, I couldn't do that, but you could stop by sometime and take a gander at all the "junk" sitting around here. :)

The picture is how they were sitting before I brought them home. Sure was a head-scratcher to load by yourself with no wheels on one of them. I have a 1000 for sale I took out of a shed a couple years ago if anyone is interested. Probably wouldn't take much to get it running. I have the reel as well (not pictured), and corn head.

Nice looking 1000 I have a really nice one, a parts one and the one I first ran alone in 1968, I was hoping to find a 800 just because they are some what rare but the ones I find are like yours I see they have the chopper running backwards on your 1000,, both belts have to have a twist in them

the above shots show my watering setup I sue to keep the Moos happy,, the last shots are after we had a 90 mph wind come through and picked up the empty tank and what was left after it being blown over three fences and 1 1/2 miles, thankfully it went in a low spot about 500 feet before getting to a 4 lane 65 mph road or things could have been a whole lot worse

(quoted from post at 05:14:32 02/12/21) Not mine, but for sale nearby
<img src="https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/cvphotos/cvphoto76347.jpg">
does this happen to be owned by an Amish man near Jewett Ohio? I think township road 262 sounds familiar. I was building a gas pipeline near his farm and remember those front wheels with coil springs.
