Wife likes these! 35+ antique tractors selling before these..... She really wants a little loader tractor. Which one is better?

Cub cadet may have been made by Mitsubishi ,some were also made by Yanmar, cant say for sure about this one although it supposedly has a Cat built engine according to tractor data .com.

A smaller older Bobcat skid steer (like an old 310) will be way better & more reliable than either of those. Especially if you can find one what was made in ND rather than in an EU country like where the new smaller Bobcat models are made.

I bleed John Deere green but I think I would go for the Cub Cadet. It has four wheel drive. The John Deere doesn't so I would think it would be useless as a loader tractor.

Both are not made by the company they say they are from. JD is probably a Yanmar and the cub MTD or some such company made it

compact tractors are not fun to work on. a guy I used to work for had a deere. The three point lower arms were so tight sway wise, it was really hard to change 3 point equipment. Just not much room between rear wheel, 3 point arm, and the piece of equipment you were hooking up. Lets just put it this way, it was a 2 1/2 man job, and none of them better be on the chunky side.

I would like a tractor of that size to mount a small tiller for the gardens. Let us know what they go for GPL.

I have a Cub Cadet like that except its 2WD,built by Mitsubishi its been a great little tractor.Good hydraulics,LPTO,power steering easy on and off.I'd buy one like is in the picture for sure.

All those front end loader tractors are front end heavy. Even more so with the little ones. I dont think you will be very happy unless the front wheel are powered. So Id pick one with FWD or FWA.

I have a 2014 John Deere 1025 with loader and back hoe and it is a very handy little tractor to have around. Its not for big jobs but like cleaning up saw dust around the saw mill or hauling slabs away or planting a tree tilling the garden its hard to beat it. Oh yeah it is four wheel drive and hydrostatic transmission. We got it for a good price. Somebody put an in-line fuel filter in backwards.
