Vintage Parts

Hi there! We recently bought a shipping container and inside were parts to a 1959 case crawler 310c. (Also the crawler itself)

We're not interested in opening a store (Yes,there are that many parts) And not going to restore the crawler.

We are looking to find a buyer. The parts are all in great condition and the previous owner obviously cared for them very well.

Many parts are in the original
Packaging and never opened.

Please let me know if you are interested. Any suggestions on who I could contact to get these parts in the right hands would also be appreciated!

Thank you!

JoHanna

I posted over in the Case forum for you, so those members will come over here and take a look, would be good to know what state your in

I am curious as to how you bought a shipping container with contents?
Was it some sort of used container auction where they do not let you see inside until after purchase?

Lol...kind of. This guy we know...his father passed away a few months ago and was overwhelmed
With all of the things his dad left behind. Lathes, construction equipment, tools, tractors, the list is large lol imagine a barn full of a man's treasures collected for over 60 years.

So, my brother began buying a few things here and there and then the guy offered to sell everything with the catch that he literally take everything.

So...now we have a crawler and all
Of the parts to re-build it twice lol. The gentleman that passed was very into rebuilding things I guess. I am guessing it was like how some folks collect stamps or coins because he kept everything so clean and organized. most of it is in the original boxes and then placed in ziplock bags wrapped in newspaper (dated 1991 lol) and then sealed in cardboard boxes.

My brother has sold most of everything else that he bought but we are stumped how to get these parts into the hands of someone that will appreciate them the way the original owner did and get use out of them. We realize this is quite a find but have no idea where to start.

I have reached out to several parts dealers and no one seems to be interested.

Someone gave me the idea of reaching out to folks via forums so here I am :)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I would like to see some pics etc and see
what you have.Where are you located? Are you
selling all together?I can put on my crawler
page if not interested.Send me a
email.Thankyou

I can get some
Photos together for you. Ideally, the idea Was to sell them all together. We also have the crawler.

There is a lot of stuff so I will get some photos and you can take a look and we can go from there.

The parts are located in Deerfield, Massachusetts

I had taken a ton of photos and they took up too much space so I deleted them. I'm working out a time to meet up with my brother so we can have another photo shoot lol

(Yes, he is annoyed that I deleted all of the photos I already took lol)

I think the first thing I?d do is try to finish find the real
owner of the crawler and parts.

I'm not sure what it is that you are implying but my friend knows exactly where he buried his dead father.

I don't know what you do with your dead relatives but we out here in Mew England keep tabs on our dead ????????????

JoHanna, I know its a long shot since this post is from 2018, but do you have anything left from this parts stash? Working on fixing up my old 310C.

Thanks in advance!

Hope she answers you, but a look at her profile shows all her posts of record are in this one thread, made on one day.

Yea Jim, I figured it would be a long shot but I've been finding it difficult to find parts for the 310C models. I picked up this crawler about a month ago, aside from some wear on the undercarriage and some missing parts om the machine, its in great shape and it fits right in sitting next to my 430 and 930CK. Grew up on the 430 and I'm a bit of a sucker for the 60's Case tractors.

I am new to the forum, up in northeast Wisconsin so I am always looking for original or reliable reproduction parts for these old units if you have any suggestions.
