Good replacement seats for 2 tractors.

With my hip joint problems, I seem to hurt quite a bit after running my tractors.
I am thinking about getting better seats for the 2 tractors I use the most.
My 52 8N Ford and my 2004 Kubota 5030 have the original seats and I need something not so hard on my butt.
I spend a lot of time on these tractors and I don't drive fast on them.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Richard,
Sounds like we have the same problem,

I have this cushion on all my tractor seats, my recliner, all my mowers.
Some cushions go under the seat covers for metal seats.
I use velcro to keep this cushion on my Kubota.
I have one on my truck seat. A new seat won't help. I'll guarantee this cushion will. Warning, it's made of memory phone. So don't pass gas while sitting on seat, it will remember it. LOL, I find it better to have the opening at the rear.
When I'm kneeling on concrete floor, I take the cushion out of truck.
When I have to sit on bleachers, I take my own cushion.

Shop around, you can find cheaper cushions.

heck out tractorseats.com to see if they have anything you like.

If you want REAL comfort and adjustability and are willing to spend the money for it, they make air suspension seats for tractors. Most can be retrofitted to about any tractor with a little farmer engineering.

There are You Tube videos for several applications. Expect to spend between $300 and $400 for the seat.

I'm thinking about going that way for my Kubota. The stock seat's spring suspension doesn't have enough preload or travel for my 210 pounds.

When I read your first post above I was gonna suggest a cushion. After seeing George's I suggest getting one cushion and moving it from tractor to tractor to see how it works. Miss Joanne made me a cushion for one of my tractor seats.

Jim,
I think I have a dozen of these cushions on all my tractors, mowers, office chair, even recliner .. I like them. My legs like it when I sit a 2 inches higher too.

I was wondering too where in the heck can you get a air seat setup for 3-4 hundred bucks. I was getting ready to ask. I went Geo's route and decided to try one of his cushions for 35 bucks for the long days in the saddle.
