Komatsu WB140 loader backhoe

Don't have and never ran a Komatsu machine, but do have a John Deere 410 backhoe. That's probably not a bad price for a machine that is good condition, especially with 4WD. Does this machine have a reverser? Check to see if the clutch slips when starting out in a fairly high gear. Also, the biggest wear points on a backhoe is the pins, especially around the hoe and the cylinders that move the boom left and right. Check and see how much wear in those pins. Another good check for a backhoe is to see if it can lift itself off the ground with the hoe and move itself around. If it can't do that I wouldn't buy it, the hydraulics are either too weak or too worn out.

You would appreciate the 4WD with any type of loader work.

They are good TLBs I have ran them and worked on them,, easy to maneuver , economical to run,, but they do hide a fuel filter that everyone misses , they are not made anymore

Our town and a local contractor botrh had the same major problem with them. I am not sure but I think that it was to do with the transmission or torque converter. It was something that causes you to sell it quick once it is repaired.
