Replacement Glass for a steam gauge ????

I bought a steam gauge and the round glass lens cover is missing. Where can I buy a replacement. I appears it should be 1/8 thick and measures 4 1/2 across. It has to be the right thickness or the outer ring that holds it in place won't work. To thin and it will wiggle around & to thick and the screw holes won't line up. Anybody have a source. Thanks Gerald

Good glass shops will make circles. You can also buy a cutter. 1/8 glass is single strength. Jim

A local hardware store that cuts glass probably has the cutter and experience. My local hardware has done a half dozen over the years. Less than $10 for any of them.

Measure your bezel and get a good maximum diameter, and minimum diameter. Bring these two dimensions, along with a target dimension with ya. Better yet.....bring the bezel and test fit before ya leave.

Check out fleabay for a gauge with the same size glass that's being sold as "non working" or damaged that has a good glass "face".

I've done that several times.
