Waukesha 145GK

I have a Waukesha 145GK engine in a fire engine. I understand the same engine was used in some tractors.
I am wondering if there is a way to hook up a mechanical tachometer to this engine. Does anyone have any
information or knowledge of a mechanical tachometer drive that can be installed on the 145GK?
Thanks
Ken

Id find a distributor with a tach connection and go that route. Finding something to fit the hole in the block should pretty easy, but be prepared to modify the driveshaft , unless you can find the correct assembly on eBay or something. Waukesha pretty much abandoned the small engine line of the early days , not a lot of nos stuff out there. Might try Waukesha Pierce or Craft Power Systems, they might have a better idea. If they have anything new, have your heart meds ready when they give you the price.
