polaris rangers

Is their a particular size or model in the rangers that is more outstanding for reliability , operation ,servicing ,resale Etc, Etc

We have 2 500s.one is an 05 and other is a 16. Bought both new and never had a problem. The other on is a 1000 crew and it only gets used to go for rides on the road. The 500s get used alot on the farm. I also have 2 gators and the rangers are way better, the only reason I got the gators is they are slower for the kids.

there are a lot of them around here -- so one the windshield came loose -- another one has the front differential leaking oil -- another one wont start when its cold -- for the most part they are ok but not as trustworthy as My kawasaki mule -- My Kawi has 2300 hours on it and it has been trouble free --- Just My 2 cents worth ! Roy

When I was looking for a side by side I compared how much they could carry, the size of the bed, 4x4, electric power steering, EFI and gas.
I settled for 2011 a end of year model 4010 mule for 25% off.
Been a good mule. I have 850 hrs on it. Good mule. Only goes 25 mph, which is fast enough for me. Good fuel economy.

Yrs back I owned a Mule for a little while & sold it & I've have had a Polaris Ranger since. The Mule seating area is too tight for my long legs.

Would not have anything but a Polaris. I have a '95 425 4 wheeler & a '13 500 Ranger and they have been totally trouble free. A couple of spark plugs in the 425....they get used most every day. Neighbor has a Mule and it is a ruff riding & sluggish. Your choice, just my experience.
