Bought this old truck last Saturday. It belonged to a good customer that I was close to. We loved to talk old tractors and such while I serviced his vehicles. I had asked to buy it a few times and he always told me I would have to wait for the auction when he was gone. He recently passed after a long life, so I was able to purchase it from his estate. These pictures are the first time it has seen the sun since 1969.

I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet. The SD220 is stuck and raccoons have been into it bad. I may convert it to 4wd, as that would be the easiest way to get brakes I can buy parts for, and get rid of the wide 6 lock ring wheels at the same time.

I've got a '50 R120. The best thing about that truck is that you can lift the hood to the left, to the right, or completely take it off all together in a matter of a few seconds.
It's been decades ago, but I managed to find a 12 volt instrument panel in a junk yard from a 2 or 3 ton IH big truck that fit right in.

This one is supposed to be a 54. No title and haven't gotten the driver door open yet to see the tag. The thing in the bed is a home made saw buck. The the deal was, I had to take it all, as the family is cleaning up. Bed was full of junk, and probably 100 pounds of dried racoon turds.

Bought a '64 Ford pick-up in about the same shape. Oldest son helped get it on the road over a years time, he drove it to high school 3 years, great old truck!
