Water in oil

Sill working on a 86 F 350 6.9 trying to get it out of my shop. I got the front axle back in. Got the front brakes working. After it started, now it has water in the oil. Is it possible after sitting almost 10 years water condensates in the motor. Is this possible? I drained the oil, I thought I would see some water come out first after sitting a couple days, but didn't, just grey oil. I'm going to put fresh oil in it and see what happens. About ready to park it along the road with the keys in it. About the only thing it has going for it is: it has a rebuilt automatic transmission. Stan

Sorry to see youre having so much trouble with this thing. The oil cooler comes apart and can be re-sealed. The intake manifold gasket seals core openings on the cylinder heads just below the intake ports. When the printing fails, coolant can enter crankcase through the valley. If a cylinder is filling with water, could be loose pre-chamber, cracked head or bad head gasket (which it is 90% of the time). Only thing left is pin holes in the cylinder, but have never encountered that failure.

It very well could be condensation. I had an old international truck that did the same thing get it hot change it

Fill it with water and leave the drain plug out and pressurized the cooling system. That way if it leaks you can decide what to do before you spend another $50 on oil.

I live about 5 miles from the ocean. We get some rea damp fogy days at times. If things are not covered, or painted it will rust. Stan

I live in a sand dune compared to where Stan does and its happened to me on several occasions where condensation gets in a housing with oil

That's a good idea. My brother had a radiator pressurizing kit somewhere. I will try to locate it. Stan

Condensation gets my vote.
I have condensation in oil when Farmall sits in pole barn over the winter.
Condensation turns oil milky.
