My tractor has always leaked some hydraulic oil but recently when I shut it down hydraulic oil is gushing out of several connections. My tractor has a loader and backhoe. The main leakage come from the loader threaded connections. Is this anything more than just replacing some hoses?

Juan Welcome to YT! Your description of you problem is a
little confusing. You say oil is .. gushing out of several
connections.. but after you shut it down. I suspect that you
parked it and noticed fluid under the machine after it was
parked a while. It would be odd in most cases if a
connection leaked more when the machine was off then
when the system was pressurized during it running. One
exception is that if you stop the machine with the bucket
raised some of the lines that are associated with those
functions will continue to be under pressure.

Usually a leaking line connection, especially a flare fitting, is caused by a crack in the fitting.

If the fitting is crimped to the hose, the hose assembly will need to be replaced.

The valve to operate the front bucket has a vent or something between the hydraulic connections. This afternoon I was able to identify this being where the leakage is coming from. Maybe I am using the wrong Hydraulic fluid is my conclution right now. Make sense?

More likely it is a relief or check valve that has lost its seal. There are no vents to atmosphere in a control valve.

I doubt the oil is causing the leak even if it is not the recommended Hy Gard or equivalent. People often use different oils in them. What oil are you using?

You need to get the manuals for your machine so you have a guide and can identify things. Read through this post, Your problem sounds similar to this fellow's valve leak.

I believe the 300 uses a closed center hydraulic system,so the valve body will be under pressure at all times running or not. With engine shut
down, move a control valve until the pressures are relieved and then check for leaks again
