Im not sure that the cast center is rooted in the TC line. MM being a Minnesota company did a lot of prototype work in the area. Maybe its a lingering option from the lean rubber era of WWII. Maybe an aftermarket option. Ill conjure up Duey.

GB in Canada has a set of those rear wheels on one of his U's.
Hope he catches this and comments. He knows far more than I.
EDIT: db, you likely have it correct. They look like standard disc wheel hubs meant for rubber tires and rims. They're very similar to a set of wheel hubs I have from a few years before the U also.

A fellow in Ontario, Canada once said a Minnie doesn't sound like a Minnie without a bullet muffler. And they sound neat!
My 21-32 loves that muffler. Tames him down just right.
After all, the bullet is likely the replacement for the older muffler even for my antique...
My BIL calls MM tractors Maalines.
