Just got a2166 combine. Its been in shed for a few weeks.Decided to take out and put beanhead on.turn it off went in for lunch.Came back out to start it and nothing. No click but can hear fuel pump running and everthing in cab works. Is there a switch onthe clutch or inch pedal. If so where would it be. need help on this one.Jim

Wiggle the hydro lever around while trying to start it. There is no safety switch on the clutch pedal only on the stick.

Jim there is not an actual switch on the pedal. Look up top on the hydrostat pump. If I remember right, on the upper cab side of the pump there is a 2 pronged plug that is plugged to the pump. The other end screws into the pump. This is the neutral safety switch. On our 2344, it stuck one time. If you remove it from the pump, there is a spring loaded ball inside of the fitting to actuate it. It had gotten a piece of trash under it to make it inoperable. Have someone handy to plug the hole up with a finger when it's removed cause the hydraulic oil will pour out.

Sorry if this is obvious, I would also guess if one of the machine engagement switches accidentally is in the on position including auger swing that starting will be disabled. If still having trouble there is the AgTalk forum or The Combine Forum in link.
