Backhoe tire Bead

Just noticed that my backhoe rear tire----the bead has lifted out of the rim a couple of inches...21L -24 R4 12 PLY....No air leaking.....Is this the end of the line for this tire????? just use for my personal use....

It is toast. If the rim is undamaged, the wire strands in the rubber of the bead have broken and there is no fix. It is rare for this failure to happen because that area is pretty well away from flexing and sunlight. Jim

Replace it now. If it blew and you where close to it when it did it could kill or hurt you very bad

Replace it. Before it blows and the gravedigger brings in his backhoe.

I would at least with it near the air hose deflate it and evaluate it then. If not visible signs of rim damage then probably the bear wires have rotted out. Sounds like tire time.
