NYUK! NYUK! NYUK! Lookie at the fat dumb idiot driving his car around like that! That car is NOT being driven! Look at the picture.

The car is in a towing company's lot. Notice all the other damaged cars parked all around it.

The tape was put on there by the rollback driver to hold the hood down while he hauled it back to their lot for the insurance company to assess.

The car has almost certainly been totaled and sold for parts or scrap at this point.

If the frame isn't bent that is just a front clip replacement , rebuilders make a living with a car like that ~

I have a neighbor that wrecked (fault unknown) his Mazda sedan. He said he had insurance, but it was still wrecked a week later. Parts were actually falling off as he drove it. I took pity and used wire welder wire to hold the lower air dam and components including the license plate back on to some solid structure. He is still driving it. I did it to protect others on our highways, not for any form of permanent fix. I do not communicate with him any more. Jim
