when there is a tornado warning I put on shorts and a t shirt because I don't want to be on the new laying in a corn field with stained undies!
 
And I would say look I survived begin tossed in a corn field by a tornado and the only thing that happened to me is I pooped my pants
 
There was a married fellow in a nearby town in a hotel with a lady with less than sterling reputation. The fellow had a heart attack and died. She had to appear before the coroner

It actually happens quite often. Usually happens first thing in the morning. Blood pressure goes from very low when first waking up, and shoots up due to straining too hard.
Advice from Dr is dont strain on the john.
 
Volunteer EMS for 30 yrs. This is not that uncommon. If it happens keep person on pot until ambulance arrives. Normal reaction is to go into cardiac arrest the moment they are moved off pot. CPR and AED will now be needed.
 
Its not uncommon for elderly to die on the pot. Its exactly true, the BP drops when straining. My dad almost dies that way in assisted living while aids were helping him go. Had they not been there to shake him up to breathe, he would have.
