GOT IT -- well You Guys are the go to Guys --- got the spark comming out of the dist -- I had the pertronix mounting plate in the wrong set of holes -- now I have a fuel issue - it runs out of fuel and when I check it there is no flow --blow back wards and it will flow for a while then quit again - must be something floating around in the tank -- thanks for all the advice --- PRICELESS Roy

There is a screen in the carburetor right behind the elbow at the inlet. Quick place to check first.

Glad you got it! I am surprised this does not come up here more often. A lot of folks are putting those systems on. I personally have not installed one. Maybe it is a Ford specific thing and I do not read on those boards. I suspect if you would have callef the company that would have been one of the first things they asked you! Look around in the tank with a light for junk that might be you culprit. That will determine if you need to clean out the tank.

well its running real good -- a piece of junk was plugging the lower hole (reserve)of the sediment bowl and was only about one gallon of gas in it--cleaned every thing including that little screen behind the inlet fitting on the carb. drove it two miles and it didnt miss a pop Big thanks to all You Guys for the advice - its priceless --- Roy from northwest Iowa

I have installed two of their kits, one was very successful install on a small Case tractor, . I went with the coil, wires, rotor and cap.
The next one was my Case 730 with the 251 engine. I ordered this one straight from Pertronics website. It did not work with my engine.

There is a Pertronics Dealer whose name starts with DENN ( despised by many) but damn, the Pertronics website-PDF had the wrong number in there. DENN----knows whitch kit you need! Give the girls a call and compare part numbers before you place an order.

No refund or return on Pertronic's systems!

hey are helpful folks, but no need to call about which mounting holes to use, as it is spelled out on the first page of the installation instructions.

Have Pertronix ignition on my Jubilee, 651 Workmaster and my 1974 MGB. They all work great. Just don't forget-Don't leave the ignition on if the engine is not running. It will cost you a module.
