Wow, looks ALOT different than when I visited Dyersville in the late 90s about 10 years after the movie came out. Heard the ticket prices for tonites game are sky high. Can still remember, saw some of the nicest soybeans there!

MLB was planning this thing at least a year ahead. They made sure the farmer was planting corn there for the game.

I think all those high ticket prices you hear about are on the 'resale market' .... like Stub Hub and so on, there are tons of them. People score tickets and then resell them and often ask outrageous prices. Good idea to plan to show up yourself if your asking price is too high. The free market system, I guess you can't complain about that, buy something and resell it for more if you can.

It use to be illegal to sell tickets high than face valve. Undercover cops use to bust people outside of venues. I don't inforced..there there is anti scalping laws anymore or just not inforced.

They said on TV that each corn plant had to be staked up from wind damage a few nights before , so is your corn blew over as well ? Also just curious looks like the rows could be 36-38 for easier walking through the field.

Watched a portion of game rooting for White Sox. Was intrigued by how much emphasis was on walking thru the standing corn , and how it was obviously planted and will be harvested without the outfield fences in place.
