Well guys its that time again. Who is heading to Rantoul for Half Century Show? Be heading out on that Thursday morning.

I'm going to start getting ready for it,, checking trailers out next week,, it's a 5 hour run for me..

I will be there with bells on lol and arrive in my RV with my exhibits and golf cart in tow before the show even starts.

I'll be there all week since I help with the field operations. Pulled an ear corn sample last Sunday.Really nice ears, fully pollinated and dented. It will be in great shape to pick and shell. Golf cart rentals are really scarce. If you don't have one reserved plan on bringing your own. There will be some minor changes in parking campers and truck and trailers but nothing we can't live with. Looking forward to meeting people under the big flag at noon. Have a safe trip.

Hey there GW, Im bringing my own golf cart, I'm an exhibitor plus I park my RV inside the grounds like I have for years,. You state

There will be some minor changes in parking campers and truck and trailers but nothing we can't live with. Looking forward to meeting people under the big flag at noon.

Can you tell me what those are for us exhibitors with RV's, I will arrive Monday before the show ???????????????????????????

In the past we all met under the big flag at 11 (instead of noon) as that's a time after many field demos and before noon lunch break

Talk to me

John T Bloomington IN just south if youre in Indy........ Green n yellow JD looking golf cart

11:00 is right - slept since last show. They are going to try and fill up the east end first. We lost Hanger Two but will still use the loading/unloading docks and all the concrete in front just as before. Registration will be in a tent along the fence where they used to put equipment for sale. This is just before you get to Hanger Two. Triangle area between there and the Taxi way will be reserved for John Deere display only. Not positive about your parking since I don't have anything to do with that area, but you should be OK. The airport will be shut down so you won't need to worry about air traffic on Monday or Tuesday. Trucks with trailers hauling golf carts/gators/mules/etc arriving while the show is on Thursday, Friday, Sat. will be directed to field parking where they can unload and drive up to an admittance gate. We are just trying to ease the congestion and make it easier for people to get in and out. I've got a Gator

Indiana ST RD 28 is closed up by Romney with a detour. We been going on I74 to Champaign, then to Rantoul. Not the handiest and out of the way but no detours.

I'm planning on being there Friday and Saturday. Didn't get there in 2019 so I'm really looking forward to it this year. Hope to be able to meet some of you guys there.

We hope to bring our refurbished Caterpillar D2. The blade and hydraulic ramps are off and we have some military rubber on the track pads. Arrival on Friday morning. Leaving after parade on Saturday. Still dealing with medical issues with co-owner! Golf cart has new batteries. Hope we can make it?

Driving from Nebraska Thursday.  Plan on being there two days, Nebraska & Illinois play football on that Saturday in Champaign, Go Big Red!   Will be the third time we have been there, well worth the long drive.

Thanks for the shout back. Another gent told me the same that RV's will be on the far east end versus west as before. I usually hang by the big flag around 11 each day, JD Green Golf Cart. I will miss JD Seller he was there last show maybe so ??? I hope to arrive late Monday morning

Was there in 2009-2011-2013 but haven't made it back since...I walked it all 3 times and if I were there this year I'd walk it again...I'll be at the Goessel,KS show today in the 97 degree heat with wind.

Glad you're able to make it to Goessel this year - it would be neat to meet you while you're here. As you say, it's gonna be hot and breezy today but we're hoping for a good show anyway.

Planning to bring 2 tractors this time. Planning on my Cockshutt 40 and my 20. Be chopping stalks with one of them. Under the flag central time?

I am planning to come to the show. For me it will be the first time there. Am I understanding it correctly that people from here meet under the big flag each day at 11:00? I am really looking forward to meeting some of you.
