Massey Ferguson mystery tractor

Hi, I'm new here but could use a little help. I just bought this tractor from a guy who told me it was a 2135, however upon doing some research that doesn't seem right to me, but of course the serial plate is gone. The pedals, rear hubs/brakes and the nose all look different, and it looks like at one point it may have been red? It has a 3 cylinder diesel, a Perkins I believe. Would anyone be able to identify the model so I would know what to order manuals and parts for? Thanks in advance, Marshall

Try 'TractorData.com'. Select Massey Ferguson. You will see a list of every Massey Ferguson tractor ever built. I see no 2135 but ther was a 231S with a 3 cyl Perkins
engine and a picture of the tractor,. Most models listed are accompanied by basic info and photos. Good luck.

2135 is the industrial version of the 135.

The 135's are red, the 2135's are yellow. Most parts interchange, so finding red parts on a yellow machine isn't going to be strange.

You're going to need photos for the tractor gurus to id it for you... Get to 5 posts and you can post photos apparently. Might want to head to the MF sub forum...

If you go to tractor data, Massey Ferguson, then scroll to the bottom and click industrial tractor, it will take you to the 2135 model

Ok I moved this to the Massey Ferguson
forum and finally managed to get pictures
uploaded. Thanks for the advice
