Near 100 degrees yesterday, until a wicked thunder storm rolled in. Got hot cutting grass. The carpenter in us showed up and put an umbrella on the Cub! Made it all day Thursday and Friday with no rain.......

That's an interesting idea, I have a receiver hitch on the back of my tractor. It wouldn't be difficult at all to mount an umbrella on my tractor.

That looks very good.
If I did not have so many trees to mow close to, I would put one on my 8N.
I wear a plastic cooter shell hat to shade my bald head.

My Dad bought a big umbrella back in the late sixties for our 8n, what a life saver! He bought it at NAPA and unfortunately it finally rotted. I took the frame to a commercial tent and awning company to see if they could make a new cover but they couldnt. I have bought two of those flimsy square $100 umbrellas and they dont get along with tree limbs to well. I tore one up in less than an hour of installing it.

We had a thunder storm roll by yesterday evening. Dump a 1/2 inch of rain in less then 30 minutes and was then gone. We needed the rain but it came down to fast and hard to do much
