That gave me a flashback to when a tornado hit a dairy farm near my grandparents. Cows in the big oak in the front yard hanging like Christmas ornaments. One cow was thrown into the second story of the farmhouse survived but they couldn't get her out so had to shoot her. Not a good day
 
Dad found bossy in the horses manger ,one morning , she got loose went into second floor of barn ,the haymow , fell though the door to though floor door throw hay into the manger into the manger. Dont remember how dad got her out of there. She had bloody milk that day .
Keep the door close from then on .
 
When I was a young kid we had a cow fell headfirst into a dug well. Grandpa managed to get a rope around her head to hold it out of the water, got her out after a couple hours with a neighbor's help and borrowed hi-lift. She lived and produced quite a few years after that.
 
Neighbor claims he had a god jersey that produced a lot of milk. This cow is claimed to have fallen into a dry well. He could get no help to get her out, so he went into the well with a ladder and started milking. The cow swam out, but did not give any milk for almost a week. I somewhat doubted the story as he was known to exaggerate a bur
