Tractor rops/canopy

Put one on my G-955 last year and I love it. They are VERY well made and it fit perfectly. My only only complaint was the shipping container. The ROPS is really heavy and freight companies are not very careful. There was no damage except one small scratch but the pallet was almost kindling. I got the optional headliner on mine and I would recommend it.

Wouldnt ya know, about 2 months ago they started advertising in our local farm newspaper. I just got a quote from them the other day. I thought it was very expensive. I have a very popular tractor model and do not immediately need a rops canopy so I will just continue searching the used ROPS route and perhaps buy a canopy on Ebay.

Thank you, I see they have free shipping until July 31, I want to call tomorrow and get a price for a rops bar and canopy, for my Ford 4610, I could find prices online,

I have one on a Farmall 706 diesel. Was bought from the prior company that built and sold the ROPS. The ROPS is certified now not to fail. When I bought mine they were not, but I believe they are pretty much the same thing. I do a lot of chore type work with this tractor like mowing road ditches, waterways, and pastures. Really helps with the sun. Glad I have it. Really looks original.

Jay, there is a program that pays 70% of the cost of the ROPS (just the roll bar, you are responsible for the cost of the caonpy top) if you are a farmer. ROPSR4U is the website.

Iron Bull is one of only a couple of companies building approved ROPS that the program will reimburse you for.

There are some hoops to jump through. You have to get a quote then pre-approval, then order it on your credit card, then install it, then provide proof that you installed it before you get reimbursed.

I signed up for the program last year but there was no funding due to what all was going on at the time. There was funding this year but I'm not sure if there is any left at this point. I signed up again but circumstances have prevented me from following through. They are really nice folks to deal with.

100% on the ROPSR4U.com program. I have done 6+ tractors and it saved me a ton of money, not to mention one roll bar on an 826 saved a life on my farm.
Funding partly depends on what state you are in. New York is great to work with. Process is fairly quick.

Jay, there is an aftermarket parts company called Bare-Co that sells Rops and canopies for small tractors like yours. They are reasonably priced, too. Look them up, find a local dealer, and check them out.
