Mother passed away last night suffering from dementia.
Born 1929 Bedford, PA and raised in Centreville, PA; a product of the Rose-Hite union. A dedicated Mother and wife. Proceeded by Husband, 1 daughter, 2 brothers.

Her troubles are over and for that I am thankful although it is tough to see her go.

You still have all the memories, I know that doesn't help right now, but it will. I lost mine several years ago and still wish I could give her a call or stop in for supper. Our prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time. Keith
 
Condolences from here in Tennessee also. Mothers are what holds a family together and are the most special things in our earthly lives. May the Lord give you peace during this difficult time.

Michael, I walked your path about 4 years ago, its tough, but some elation that they are no longer tortured by this horrible thing and
are now in a better place with no pain and suffering. As said, remember the good times and memories of a great Mom and know shes watching over you always
 
It is never easy to lose a parent.
But just remember the good days and know that she is at peace now.

6 months to the day that my wife of 52 yrs 7 months passed on into heaven. Everything is perfect there. I still struggle with the loss of her. I do attend Grief Share sessions which it does help some.
 
my condolences to you for the passing of your mother. Whenever the faith is strong and one's heart is right with The Creator leaving this earth is simply a part of life and the end of suffering so it is easier on those left behind. Remember the good times .
 
A long and productive life well lived....who could ask for more...still hard to say goodbye to someone who had such a positive influence in our lives. My sympathies.

Sorry for your loss but like what was said, I am happy she is in heaven and pain free. I have heard deep loss and sorrow can lead to dementia. I don't know if there is any truth to that belief but it sounds like your mother had some big losses during her life.
 
Finding the rest she deserves. Find solace in the certainty of her effect on all those she encountered. Jim
