The better half (How true that is!) is doing lots of deep cleaning and came across some old books, which I/we no longer need. One of them is a 1948 edition of
Morrison Feeds and Feeding. If someone would like it for their library it is your for the price of the shipping, probably $10 or so. My email should be open.

Interesting the word Morrison. Are you referring the grain elevator in Morrison Illinois ,one block over off Main Street? The reason I ask I was born and raised there, and just down around the corners where the old Case dealership was. Chuck machinist

I think I already have a copy of the book upstairs, from the late 60s, from one of the dairy courses I took at Cornell. It was the Bible for how to get cows to milk by feeding correctly, at the time. Somebody should grab it just to see how things have changed.

Different Morrison. Book was written by Frank Morrison, former professor at UW and Cornell. Was THE guy in animal nutrition the first half of the 20th century.

Just looked for mine, used to be right behind my desk in the book shelf. I had two of them mine late 60s and Dads 40s edition, guess I must have moved them. But did find the Science of Successful Threshing Published 1899 by JI Case. It's a little dog eared and crispy but very cool.

I still have mine that I bought in 1970 for classes at East Texas State. It's abridged, but I also have Dad's 1948 (full thickness) edition he bought for ag classes when he got home from the war.
