battery connection for jd 830

Can someone show me a picture or information on how to connect two 12v batteries to replace 4 6v in an electric start jd 830. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

its pretty straight forward, just connect the 2 12 volts in series . pos. to neg. then you end up with your ground and starter cables left. i am not sure if the ground is neg. or pos. on those j. d.'s. plus look on the 6 volt battery hook up and you will see the same deal just more connections.

Battery cable(item 27) attaches to negative battery post & battery cable(item 28) attaches to positive battery post. Wire(item 29) gives accessories both positive & negative 12 volt grounds
