So...... Was going to move the Ford 641 into the barn to do wires, gauges, and sheet metal. Hooked the 960 to it, pulled it up the slope and then take tow strap off and coast it back in the barn. Going to the hill I got Mick to put 641 in 4th gear and let out clutch, just to see the motor spin ( boys will be boys) it spun, he mashed clutch and it didn't release. Now the pedal is laying on the floor board. Gonna have to split it, but why?????? What happened??? Everything checked out yesterday when we put it together!!

Clutch assembly might be stuck to the input shaft of the transmission. If there is an access hole to the area, you may be able to pry it back to where the shaft is cleaner, otherwise.....split....

He might have sheared the pin that holds the throw-out bearing actuating fork to the shaft.

Does the pedal go up and down without any resistance?

I can take the clutch pedal linkage off and the part sticking out of bell housing has resistance. Can push it back ,and it snaps back in place.... BUT clutch still doesn't release when it's pushed??

Good chance one of 2 pins in the linkage went bad. One is on the out side on the clutch throw out bearing shaft and the other is in side at the arm that holds the throw out bearing
