Power has been out here for about 45 minutes. Generator is running as I type.

Duke Energy projection for restoration of power is about another 5 1/2 hours but I doubt that they yet know.

About a week ago We had some in the county. somebody had pictures like that of 1-1 1/2 size hail. My brother may have lost a field of corn to hail this year. Waiting to see if it comes out of it.

We can't return to ice age because there is too much hot air coming out of DC.
NO one has fixed the hole in ozone.

Big wash out overnight.

4 1/2 in my rain gauge that is too close to the house and usually reads low.

The problem of ozone depletion was reduced considerably and the hole is now naturally shrinking due to the actions brought about by the Montreal Protocols of 1987, a worldwide agreement that banned the use of CFC chemicals in propellants and AC systems.

It serves as a good example of a detrimental environmental issue being identified, the source responsible for it being pinpointed, and an international law being enacted to stop it from continuing.

1300 duke costumers north end of county lost power at 430 am and it was restored 8 hours later.

Some tree damage along river in town. A few wheat fields went down, rain and wind.

Happy I dodged a bullet.

Did that have any wind or tornado damage apart from the hail? Thats a nasty hook out front on the south end of that storm.

All we got was 4.25 inches of rain overnight and some small hail just for a sec or so. I little southwest of here some corn is down and some showing hail damage.
