Grain mills

I have a FM ZC 118 that I want use to power some item when I go to shows for a display. Wondering what is out there, where, cost, etc... It would be nice to have something to grind shelled corn to make corn meal or something else to grind and make flour with. There is very little of that that was done here is south Louisiana except for rice hullers and polishers. What should I look for and where should I look for it at? What is the cost of getting something to be powered by the engine that would make an interesting display at a show? Need some help and ideas of what to use these engines for. Thanks.

I think the ZC 118 is a 7hp. It should be a radiator cooled throttle governed. Weve got a similar F-M running the small line shaft in the blacksmith shop at Junkshow. I would think it would easily run a 5 inch burr mill maybe an 8 inch. The bigger mills are more common at auction or swap meets. Letz and IH were common. Pricing varies.

There are grinders and mills for sale quite often on the the antique engine sites such as Smok Stak and the various Facebook groups that deal in engines. Also always some for sale at the large engine and machinery shows with swap meets. There are burr mills which have a course grind for feed and stone mills for flour. Prices run from $150 for a smaller burr mill to thousands for larger stone mills. Your 118 will run a 6 burr easily. You can run about any size if you feed it slowly.
