Beth called just now and said that Loren died last night. We will miss him big time. He was a real Case Man all the way. .Jack, .The Old Scovy

Thanks for letting us know--he was definitely an asset to the board and will be missed.

What a shame , he was a talented guy that could build anything. I always enjoyed his posts and pictures of his Case tractors and equipment. I will certainly miss him.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Having fabricated a lot of stuff myself, I always admired his creations.

(quoted from post at 11:22:45 06/14/21) I really admired the equipment he built, a true craftsman! RIP!

Yes, he was always thinking about a better way to work, and did it.

No doubt an inspiration to many here and in person.

R.I.P.

That's really unfortunate. I'll miss his posts, was always interesting to se what he had built and a little bit of NY agriculture.

This is sad news. I was just thinking about him a few days ago wondering how he was doing. His posts were some of the ones I enjoyed the most. Perhaps because of his interests and locale, I felt a connection to him without ever meeting him. He was a talented man and has been missed and will be missed by many.
Thank you Old Scovy for letting this community know. I hope we can keep this community thriving.
Prayers for Loren and Beth.

so sad to hear that. It was a real treat, several years ago, when Loren and Beth hosted jonf, Jay in NY and daughter, and me for a YT get together and tour. Loren was a good man. RIP. We will miss him and his inventions.

Haven't read and viewed the photos of his projects, indicates a man who would be a pleasure to meet,
with the condolences wrote here, its easy to see that he had many friends on these forums, and i
find that itself a comforting thought for the family, may peace be with them at this time .

A great talent who knew his Case tractors and equipment for sure. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family - Bob

Prayers to the family, and one thing is for sure God is getting the best person he needs to design and build anything he needs and will never run out of firewood.

I bought my Case 831 because I admired the job he did with his. He was a craftsman and had a lot of Case knowledge. I have missed his posts.

I remember him making maple syrup on a big scale and I think he did some fall plowing last fall. Am I right about these two statements?

Yes you are right. Loren was a real operator. In fact Beth and I were talking this mmorning about the fact that Loren was up on the farm plowing just last fall and now he is passed on. So sad.

Very sad to hear of his passing, that was a great time, I ran into Loren last summer at a Case IH dealer, he will be missed.

That is sad to hear. I hope he came to peace with the creator and accepted in his heart the place that had been prepared for him. I pray that God comforts his close family and friends during this time of loss. He will be greatly missed here, his fabrication, firewood work, Case tractor knowledge and tails of maple syrup production will live on here and through others he touched personally.

I am sorry to hear of his passing. I will miss his posts on this forum. He certainly came up with some great fabrication projects. All of his equipment looked to be in excellent condition, that took a lot of work to keep it that way. Its people like him that make this forum so interesting and informative. I was just wondering about Loren when I saw this post, very sad, we all will miss him on here. Prayers for his family.

I am sure that his spirit lives on in all of us. we have gained so much from his kind generous additions to our lives. To lead is to set an example. His example includes innovation, Hard work, a gentle attitude, cooperative, contributing, and (oh yeah) hard work. Peace that passes all understanding be with Lorren and all his family. Jim

So sorry to hear this and condolences to family and friends.

ACG was talented, articulate and entertaining. He is a big piece of what this Tractor Talk community is built around. As some have said, you could debate and disagree with a man like Loren, but you still have the upmost respect for him and he you. Ask for advice or help and he would give it. A great loss to all.

Grant

RIP. In a lot of ways his posts reminded me of my father. Everything he did was done well. Condolences to his family.

There are many on here who will be missed when they pass, not many more than Loren. I've truly enjoyed following his exploits over the last 18 odd years. Even bought Maple Syrup from him years ago. Rest in peace good Sir.

I always enjoyed his posts! Maple syrup and case tractors, he always seemed to take great pride in all of his postings. Prayers for his Family.

Good bye ACG. I enjoyed his posts. He made a big impact here. He was what we called a real man , when I was a boy. God saw Loren had suffered enough pain and kicked in the Case-o-matic for Loren one last time. And today , with all these posts , Loren brings out the best in us one last time. Wishing him an eternity of straight furrows and happy wood cutting. We will see him on the other side. I am sorry for his familys loss today.

Such sad news. I always enjoyed his posts. He was well respected here and will surely be missed. I think we can all say we learned something from his wisdom. Condolences to his family.

This is so sad to hear of Loren's passing. I always enjoyed his posts and admired his skills in everything he did. He will be missed.

Please accept my condolences. Loren was a master of ideas and He gave them freely to whoever wanted them . He will surely be missed on this forum. RIP my friend
