Reminds me of the time when I was little, my dad was an avid fisherman.

We would stop at the bait store and buy minnows, put them in a Styrofoam ice chest in the back seat or the car.

One time it tipped over. Finding them all would have interfered with valuable fishing time so he gathered up the easy ones, left the rest for the weekend locked up in the car.

And this was our nice car, not some old beater!

Many years ago (mid 1960s) I worked retail store that sold paint. Lady purchased 1 gal of aluminum paint, proceeded to leave it her brand new car while she shopped. Of course it exploded. She wanted store to pay for ruined car. SORRY

One time I was hauling paint buckets in
the back of a utility bed. That truck had
a three inch tailgate.
There was a guy tailgating me through a
construction zone. I happened to hit a
large pothole and one of those five gallon
buckets bounced out, hit the road, and
exploded up becoming a wall of paint.
He got a nice paint job. It was a
precatalized epoxy.

About 40 years ago a local lumber yard
got a shipment of 5 gallon buckets of
joint compound with weak buckets. Manager
went to drop off bucket to a customer on
his way home. When he lifted the bucket
out of the trunk of his BMW the bottom
and all the compound stayed behind.

Years ago I was driving home after getting off work on 2nd shift. On I 75 up ahead I saw tail lights ricochet from one side of
the highway to the other between guard rails. The car stopped partially on the left lane, I stopped and the back of the car was
like this picture, paint all over. The driver had fallen asleep.
