12v had solenoid and inline filter

All the talk about filters, I had to replace the inline filter on my 71 year old Farmall C.

I took pic of filter, 12v solenoid and sediment bowl.
I am to forgetful to manually turn gas on and off.

How many use gas solenoids?
 
Proofread! We too have a Farmall C, a 48 with a Woods belly mower. I shut the gas off after driving it in the shed, and then wait for it to die, and then shut the switch off. otherwise it diesels, and then sometimes runs backwards, I don't like the sound of that. Ours is still 6 volt, works well, if it isn't broke, don't fix it!
 
I put a 72 inch woods belly mower and centered the mower. Typically the mower is off set to the right and 60 inches.
 
My mom had a lawn tractor that the gas would fill the cylinder by gravity sometimes after it was shut off. I rebuilt the carburetor but put a 12v shut off in for safety.
 
If I had to shut the gas off on our H each time I used it, it would never get used. We never shut it off and have no problems like is always talked about. Don't know if it is luck low float level or everybody else's needle valve is not sealing good.
