More info on tractor needing an engine

Please to start with if your not going to try and help don't waste you time or my time. PLEASE

Tractor is a KAMA TS354C
HP is I read it right is 25.7 but the 2 maybe a 7 hard to see in the text he sent me
Engine #Y31101102Z
485 Diesel.
I'm just trying to help a friend and he asked me to see if I could find him a good engine for this tractor

Someone may have mentioned it but artrac.com
In Clarskville, AR was a distributor for Kama tractors.

They might be a source of parts or know who might be able to help find an engine.

Since I got rained out of haying this afternoon, I decided to look around the interwebs to see what is out there. Doesn't look like there is too much in the way of salvage for any of the various Chinese tractors that use the Yangdong TY485. Finding a running used engine doesn't seem likely. The place I linked to in the other post doesn't appear to have any short blocks or complete engines of that model. They do show rebuild parts in stock, so that might be the only option open to him. I'd still want to know what exactly 'locked up' means by investigating the engine.

Me also but at this time I'm not close to it so hard to say for sure. Been trying to get him to bring it to me so I can check it out better
