Local hardware store and car dealership has had popcorn all along. Electrical supply house has donuts and coffee everyday.
 
Free popcorn at RK, as well as Kirby Risk electrical supply house, and the American Legion and Moose Clubs yayyyyyyyyy Of course at the Legion or Moose it just makes you buy more beer, but with One Dollar Drafts its affordable maybe cheaper then coke or water lol

But what about the old saying THERES NO FREE LUNCH ???????? (just popcorn maybe)

Last time I was in the Rural King in Greenville, OH, after a year or so of no popcorn they had finally popped some but were charging $2.50/bag. Definitely not worth it.

Corporate would find that disturbing.
Maybe they were asking for a $2.50 donation for some local charity at the time??

They do that once in awhile down here, it is voluntary to pay.
 
Funny you mentioned Kirby, back when I was still working at tge Columbus tech center we would call and tell them to make a fresh batch. Let's not forgot there famous customer appreciation lunches with grilled brat!
 
Lee it has been back about two weeks at the Clarksville Tn. store so must not be a state thing. Must be up to the local store managers.
 
Ace hardware has free popcorn at least once a week. Unfortunately, they salt it so much that I have given up on eating it and I eat a lot of popcorn.
 
For me food almost never has enough salt. But years ago I got overcome by heat and ended up having to put a tablespoon of salt in a quart of water and drink as much of that as I could. Always can tell when my body is getting low on salt and just have to grab a handfull of salt and eat it.
