Cub cultivating

Got the cub from NC put back together and cultivators back on. Gave it a run through the corn. Big ,wide sweeps done good! I think I might have to keep this cub. Sweet running machine.

Gotta add a couple more in the middle. It didn't come with the 2 short shanks for the middle.

I'm about ready to build a radiator guard since I don't have a grill for my cub and maybe make some doglegs

I want one.... still remember dad taking g me to see our neighbor's new Cub when I was a kid. Was not all that pumped to gp see it, thinking it was a Cub Cadet like Dad had.

Saw that adorable little red critter... and I was sold!!

I made one out of expanded metal for mine when I bought it in 1996 and it is still on there.

I don't have the doglegs or any thing to compare things to so easier to make a guard then the grill it self

Look closer.I dont think it is bent. More likely worn or loose where it pivots in the bracket that bolts to the rear axle housing.

It is bent i have been around those rear sweeps for like 70yrs still use em and they dont wear like that. Some people can bust an anvil must have backed up or something it doesent even match the other one. I-H had several types of those rear tooling bars to hold one or more shovels. Notice the front where the row shanks go something is sprung there also.

Bar is bent a little. And bracket on final drive is bent alot!
