I never cared much for one my neighbor got one. I was working on his tractor he left the tiller on it. Another neighbor showed up he said he offed to sale his to him he brought it new and newer used it.. It was interesting to hear the story form each neighbored one trying to j-ew the other down etc...

The owner of this one showed up the one never used I asked what the deal was he said get me 6 new golf cart batteries its yours. I now own a new 71" tiller : )

I WAS happy with my deal, but you got me beat.
Orscheln's had 6ft tillers on sale but none in stock, so I got a raincheck.
Called me and told me it was in after 4 weeks, told them I'd pick it up on Wednesday because.....

(Geo-TH and John T will appreciate this)

Wednesdays are Orscheln's 5% senior discount day. Saved me $100 (told you my deal wasn't as good as yours).
Got it hooked up behind my Grandpa's 64 4000. Yes, first gear is a little too fast, so I just take a smaller bite and make 2 passes.
Would like to hook it up behind the 60 4000 diesel, but the tiller won't cover the rear tire tracks. This does the job. Tills the garden FAST.
Paint for the old tractor is in my plans as a retirement job. Except for a spot under the hood, still had my Grandpas writing in pencil when he changed the oil in it.

People want within $2-300 of what a new tiller costs around here. And then it's usually a brand you never heard of.

The way I'll use this tiller, probably never need parts, but at least with a brand name I should be able to get them

KK has been great for me.The first one I bought was a 5ft TSC return, the buyer said he used it less than 15 minutes before it quit turning so TSC gave him another one. This tiller sat in the back of their lot for over a year,so I ended up with it for $400.Took it apart and the housing that holds the idler gear had a casting flaw caused it to break.Called KK for parts told them the complete story the customer service guy said KK would warranty that.I sent them the broken part they sent me the whole new drive assembly at no charge.I put it back together and been using it ever since that was over 15 years ago.

I have to make about $130 to be able to spend after taxes $100.

So $100 saved is equal to $130 earned.
If it were sold at RK, you would get another 5% off in the form of rebate if you used RK CC.

Who doesn't love saving money??

I had my garden ready to plan okra all I had to do was row it up. I ran the tiller thru it, it made baby powder out of the soil : ( It unusually dry here I have not seen it this dry in years.

to the right baby powder.

For grandpa Love to the left rolling cultivators on a farmall. Another tip run your new planter down the row with no seed then put the seed in the planter and run it again it takes the fight out of it..

RK (I have one of their cards, thats the only place I use it) was $300 higher than the sale price at Orschelns...then toss in the Orscheln Wednesday 5% senior discount..

Most retailers wo allow more than one discount per purchase.

Otherwise you could get 5% on a certain day, senior, military, first responder, discounts all piled on same purchase.
Don't think so.

Never heard of Orschelns. Where are you located?
I only have Rural King and TSC.
So 5% RK CC is my best choice.

I'm in Adams co Ohio, about 50 miles east of Cincinnati.

The Orschelns is in Mt Orab

I usually don't shop there, found them to be a little pricey compared to TSC, but they had a decent sale price on the tiller.

Read somewhere that TSC has bought Orscheln's,. Curious what will happen locally, as there is a TSC just a few miles up the road in Sardinia
